MoonRanger

A robotic lunar rover developed by CMU's Field Robotic Center in partnership with JPL and Astrobotic.

The goal of the project is to demonstrate the feasibility of using small, low-cost rovers for lunar exploration and to advance technologies that can be used in future lunar missions. The rover  is equipped with a range of sensors and instruments to enable it to navigate and conduct scientific research on the lunar surface searching for water.

Coordinated Manipulation

Final Project for Mechanics of Manipulation (16-741) in collaboration with CMU ZoomLab.

In this project, I explore the use of compliant delta robots in dexterous manipulation. Three robots work together as fingers to perform tasks that are potentially useful in an assistive care setting. The goal of this project was to implement a control scheme & trajectories that could leverage the compliance of each finger to simplify dexterous tasks.
